A city is waking up.
Early in the morning.
Time for Poetry.
Time for mistery.
Time for Time for Chatting.
Time for magic.
Time for observtion.

The sunrise and all its magic. People launch the day in the streets. They wash yesterday's memories, to begin a new day, and new memories. From the side walk over the sea, where old men are chatting, to the mini van descending on the vibrating picture of the city. Beirut is discovered. In the morning the poetry become no more written, it's seen in the air, on the ground of the baker and his fire… Faces looking like poetry, poetry looking like faces. A city is stripping in front of you. She only keeps her sea on.Beirut, a city imprisoned by the sea, a sea imprisoned by the city.

The public park, the stairs of art, the cemeteries, and the pedestrian bridge, in all of those locations the city push us to hallucination. The film mixes between different arts and visual techniques, in the aim of finding the place of the legend. Is it possible to find it? It had been screened in two public screenings, one by ALBA, and another one by Docudays (Beirut International Documentary Film Festival). It was the only Lebanese film in the international competition in Docudays 2005. It had been written about it in four different newspapers.

Lived in Lebanon in time of war and peace, and always had made the most marginal choices. In his birthday, Lokman invites all of his friends to his own house. In the party, every one of the friends had prepared a small surprise for Lokman, a present that makes him remember all the time they have been together, and opens horizons for new relationships. They are dipped in a warm feeling. Lokman too had prepared a special surprise.
